EcoSMART’s Spray Safe Summer Country Tour

I recently developed a website for EcoSMART products’ Spray Safe Summer Country Tour. This tour is winding its way across the country in a spiffy customized Jeep, bringing a new Organic Insect Repellent to the masses for a trial test…and they’re giving away gift certificates as well as free samples of products. The tour was expected to last only a month but it has been so successful that it will continue all summer!

I think the campaign is an awesome idea to really show EcoSMART cares about it’s customers and especially their children and pet’s safety.

This is another WordPress site that includes galleries, Facebook videos, a live Twitter feed, and plenty of SEO friendliness. Check out the site, where they’re going to next, and use some of their products that are safer for the environment than their competitors!

31st Street Studios

I recently took on designing the logo and website for 31st Street Studios in Pittsburgh, a new movie studio located just outside of downtown in the Strip District. Pittsburgh’s becoming quite the hub for the movie industry, and 31st Street Studios is part of the new wave of filmmakers in town. The building was once a movie studio, but was bought by a real estate developer who was hoping to turn it into rental property, but Gateway Entertainment Studios swooped in to reclaim the building and hopes to turn the studio into a major player in the entertainment field worldwide. The studio has already shot many commercials and movies and is currently in production with a major blockbuster movie on deck.

I worked with the owner to create a logo that utilized a symbolic aspect of the movie company’s previous incarnation (a shield from their logo) along with a film strip banner. We included a stylized 31st Street Bridge with the actual studio building tucked away underneath. I also redeveloped their website using WordPress with customizations to their theme, creating a website with video and image galleries, an entertainment news ticker that broadcasts the Google RSS feed of the entertainment industry’s current headlines, testimonials from local film industry professionals, a visual representation of the studio’s filmography and much, much more.

Graphic Design – Business cards, brochures, menus, billboards, handbills, t-shirts, toys, skateboard graphics, tattoo designs, annual reports, book covers, posters, vector illustration, invitations, advertisements, etc. There is nothing that we do not do in the world of design.

Web Design – From a one page brochure website to a multi-product e-commerce portal, we can design it for you. Our favorite way to create is to build a site on a CMS (Drupal, WordPress or Indexhibit) and then teach our clients how to use and update their own website. We can still make updates when needed but our goal is for you to be able to add content with ease; including raising search engine ranking, popularity from users, adding fresh content, and creating a professional place to send new potential customers.

Photography – Anything creative is our passion. If there is a product, person, building, or general object that needs to have a clean, non-stock, and completely unique photograph taken of it then sign us up. Give us a chance to show off our new camera’s capabilities for you!

82 Concepts is fueled by a variety of creative influences.

As a visual artist, I am inspired by the art I see everyday; from street art to fine art, from graffiti to the typography of hand painted signs. A lifelong artist, my passion for photography, drawing and painting has proven to be a valuable jump off point for all of my design work.

As a web designer, I am knowledgeable in all aspects of the creative process from programming a site to the final aesthetic adjustments of layout. My diverse experience with such programs and programming languages as the Adobe Suite, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, and Indexhibit) allow me to create truly unique projects to exact client specifications. I have been privileged to work with a variety of clients; small family-owned companies, non-profit organizations, community activists, politicians, restaurants,, musicians, artists, and Fortune 500 companies. I enjoy the opportunity to work with such a diverse clientele as I feel that each interaction advances my knowledge base that further strengthens my design skills, web development skills, and overall business etiquette.

As a businessman, I enjoy working one on one with the clients and developing the project plan. Each new business proposal brings a new set of challenges that push me to do my best; I truly enjoy learning about the client’s projects and working with them to create a unique project specifically tailored to their needs.

I can develop marketing and advertising ideas through a variety of print and web media outlets. I value client input and welcome the opportunity to learn about new ideas and opportunities through individual meetings. I find that open communication with the client is a key factor in customer satisfaction and use an online project management system, WORKetc, that keeps clients updated to the minute on the project status. This system is a warehouse where clients and I can create to-do lists, invoices, project deadlines, comments, customer support requests, upload documents and create a place for all communications to be stored as reference.

My genuine love of meeting new people and working with them to develop their vision from start to finish is what motivates me most. In the end client success is what makes 82 Concepts a success.

Rachaellee needed a new platform for her many ideas, boutique / professionals lists, reviews, and much more that her old blog just couldn’t handle. 82 Concepts created a full WordPress site with all the bells and whistles. She has multiple guest bloggers, a ton of reviews, listings for many of the unknown boutiques and professionals in Pittsburgh, and has many plans for Phase 2 to incorporate more interactivity with her visitors!

So during the Summer things really pick up for me. Already have a bunch of new clients and projects lined up. I’ll keep everyone posted with new events, projects, and general information. The general info side of things will be reposts of other blogs and informational pieces that range from Photoshop and Illustrator techniques to the best WordPress plugins and hacks/fixes that will benefit even advanced users!

Keep in mind that this will have some personal posts but mainly professional. It will give you an insight of the projects and clients that I have, as well as, future ventures and personal projects.
