I think the campaign is an awesome idea to really show EcoSMART cares about it’s customers and especially their children and pet’s safety.

This is another WordPress site that includes galleries, Facebook videos, a live Twitter feed, and plenty of SEO friendliness. Check out the site, where they’re going to next, and use some of their products that are safer for the environment than their competitors!

EcoSmart Summer Country Tour Blog Site

I worked with the owner to create a logo that utilized a symbolic aspect of the movie company’s previous incarnation (a shield from their logo) along with a film strip banner.  We included a stylized 31st Street Bridge with the actual studio building tucked away underneath.  I also redeveloped their website using WordPress with customizations to their theme, creating a website with video and image galleries, an entertainment news ticker that broadcasts the Google RSS feed of the entertainment industry’s current headlines, testimonials from local film industry professionals, a visual representation of the studio’s filmography and much, much more.

As a visual artist, I am inspired by the art I see everyday; from street art to fine art, from graffiti to the typography of hand painted signs. A lifelong artist, my passion for photography, drawing and painting has proven to be a valuable jump off point for all of my design work.

As a web designer, I am knowledgeable in all aspects of the creative process from programming a site to the final aesthetic adjustments of layout. My diverse experience with such programs and programming languages as the Adobe Suite, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, and Indexhibit) allow me to create truly unique projects to exact client specifications. I have been privileged to work with a variety of clients; small family-owned companies, non-profit organizations, community activists, politicians, restaurants,, musicians, artists, and Fortune 500 companies. I enjoy the opportunity to work with such a diverse clientele as I feel that each interaction advances my knowledge base that further strengthens my design skills, web development skills, and overall business etiquette.

As a businessman, I enjoy working one on one with the clients and developing the project plan.  Each new business proposal brings a new set of challenges that push me to do my best; I truly enjoy learning about the client’s projects and working with them to create a unique project specifically tailored to their needs.

I can develop marketing and advertising ideas through a variety of print and web media outlets. I value client input and welcome the opportunity to learn about new ideas and opportunities through individual meetings. I find that open communication with the client is a key factor in customer satisfaction and use an online project management system, WORKetc, that keeps clients updated to the minute on the project status.  This system is a warehouse where clients and I can create to-do lists, invoices, project deadlines, comments, customer support requests, upload documents and create a place for all communications to be stored as reference.

My genuine love of meeting new people and working with them to develop their vision from start to finish is what motivates me most. In the end client success is what makes 82 Concepts a success.

Spring Hill Suites by Marriott

Project:

82 Concepts designed rack cards for the sales team to promote the new property in Pittsburgh’s Bakery Square.

The team at the Bakery Square Spring Hill Suites remembered our work with their sister property in downtown Pittsburgh and invited us to design these stylish new rack cards.

Mexico City Restaurant

Project:

82 Concepts worked with the owners to create a new menu design, including food photography and development of a splash page for www.mex-city.com.

Mexico City in downtown Pittsburgh has been a client for several years. Not only are they one of my favorite clients to work with, they are my favorite dining establishments in the city.  Due to their expanding success in business, this is the fourth revision of their menu.

Courtyard by Marriott, Pittsburgh, PA

Project:

82 Concepts designed and took photographs for the brochure used by the sales team to promote the amenities in the hotel.

The old brochures used stock photography from Marriott’s archives and needed some revamping. I took all new photographs and gave the brochure a fresh, organized and modern look to reflect the hotel’s new image.

Courtyard by Marriott, Pittsburgh, PA

Project:

82 Concepts took photographs for and created design of the rack card used by the sales team to promote the amenities in the hotel.

Using my own photography, I designed the Pittsburgh Downtown Courtyard by Marriott’s rack cards. These are the mini-brochures that are displayed at the front of the hotel and handed out by the sales team to potential customers. The hotel has used this design for the past few years and printed over 10,000 copies.

League of Young Voters

When the League of Young Voters first opened a chapter in Pittsburgh, I was honored to work with them as their lead designer for a multitude of projects. This was for a billboard campaign informing ex-felons that they could still vote in the state of PA.  That’s me, second from left in the back!

An artist approached me to design a multi-page proposal for an art exhibit that boasted many international artists. As an artist myself, I jumped at the opportunity to help out an artistic endeavor and delivered the following piece for them.
